Since 2015 the Global Catholic Climate Movement has worked with Catholics around the world to spread the message of Laudato Si' and help Catholics take action on the climate crisis in their spiritual lives, personal actions, and in their communities.

The Laudato Si' Animators Course teaches participants to bring Laudato Si' to life. It uses the "See, Judge, Act" model of Catholic Social Teaching to share the science and effects of climate change, Church teaching in care for creation, and how to take action in our lives and communities. The course consists of three weeks of webinars, discussions sections, and a final project for Earth Day.

The Global Catholic Climate Movement serves the Catholic family worldwide to turn Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ encyclical into action for climate justice, by undergoing our own ecological conversion, transforming our lifestyles and calling for bold public policies together with the wider climate movement. Since GCCM was founded in January 2015, it has mobilized hundreds of thousands of Catholics through multiple initiatives to bring Laudato Si’ to life. This is the third time we are offering the Laudato Si' Animators course, which is offered to provide training to Catholics of all walks of life who want to know how to do more to bring Laudato Si' to life in their communities. We offer this course in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and bring in experts in climate change, organizing, and Catholic Social Teaching.
